The purpose of the Strategy Games Club is to create a friendly environment where people can learn to play and enjoy a variety of strategy games.
Easier than Checkers….harder than Mah Jongg….
Our club has a variety of different games at a broad range of complexity levels. We can teach you any of these games. Start at easy complexity or just play old favorites like Rummikub, Mexican Train, Sequence, or Canasta.
“Strategy games” refers to games where the use of logic or the understanding of probable outcomes is more important than luck (as in traditional dice rolling games such as Monopoly or Yahtzee).
Please join us on Mondays from noon to 4 pm and Thursdays from 5 to 9 pm in the Liberty Center multipurpose rooms. Additional informal play opportunities are arranged most Saturdays from 1 to 4 pm as well. New players are always welcome!
